Lawn Care Questions
How often should I water my lawn?
Most DFW lawns need 1-1.5 inches of water per week during the growing season. We recommend watering deeply 2-3 times per week rather than light daily watering. Early morning (before 10am) is the best time to water. Check out our watering guide for more details.
What's the best grass for North Texas?
Bermuda grass is the most popular and performs well in full sun. For shaded yards, St. Augustine is the best choice. Zoysia offers a good balance of durability and lower maintenance. Visit our grass types page to compare options.
When is the best time to fertilize?
Warm-season grasses should be fertilized from spring through fall when actively growing. Our 10-round fertilization program is timed to deliver nutrients when your lawn needs them most throughout the year.
How tall should I mow my grass?
Bermuda: 1-2 inches. Zoysia: 1-2 inches. St. Augustine: 2.5-4 inches. Never remove more than 1/3 of the grass blade in a single mowing to avoid stress.
Service Questions
What day will you service my lawn?
We assign service days based on location to optimize our routes. You'll receive your regular service day when you sign up, and we'll service your lawn on the same day each week (weather permitting).
Do I need to be home during service?
No, you don't need to be home. We just need access to your yard. Please make sure gates are unlocked and pets are secured on your service day.
What happens if it rains on my service day?
If rain prevents us from servicing your lawn, we'll reschedule to the next available day, typically within 24-48 hours of the original service day.
